Services

  • I work with ages 18+ in all stages of life. I have experience with young adults to end of life care. My work is centered on guiding individuals through healing deep wounds from the past, understanding the origins of their anxiety and depression, and empowering them to build self-awareness, confidence, behavioral changes and a solid sense of self-worth.  I seek to create a gentle and compassionate environment to help clients achieve their goals through this transformative process.

Please feel free to reach out to learn more about my approach and how therapy can support you.

  • I take a Gottman centered approach to couples therapy to help couples increase intimacy, respect, and affection, learn to communicate effectively, and develop healthy ways to handle conflict, so they can build a more resilient and satisfying relationship. Together we will set goals, recognize unhealthy patterns, improve intimacy and develop the tools to resolve conflict. We will utilize the 7 Principles of Making Marriage work.

  • As a therapist with specialized Perinatal Mental Health Training I have advanced, specialized training in supporting individuals and families through the emotional and psychological challenges that can arise during pregnancy, postpartum, and the early parenting years.

This certification reflects a deep understanding of issues such as:

    • Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs)

    • Birth trauma and loss

    • Fertility challenges

    • Identity shifts and relationship changes in parenthood

My goal is to provide informed, compassionate care during this unique life transition—helping clients feel understood, supported, and empowered in their journey to and through parenthood.

  • ERP involves gentle and slow exposure to the source of the anxiety or fear and then preventing the engaging in their usual compulsive behavior in response to that anxiety or fear. Over time, ERP helps reduce anxiety, build trust in oneself, and create a greater sense of freedom and confidence. The goal isn’t to eliminate discomfort altogether, but to help people feel more capable, resilient, and in control as they move toward the life they want.

What to Expect

After you reach out, we will schedule a 15 minute informal call to discuss what is bringing you to therapy, how I can help you and set a time and date for an intake session.

An initial individual session will be 60 minutes and couples 70 minutes. This will be an opportunity to talk in more detail regarding what is bringing you to therapy, who you are and my approach to therapy.

At the end of our session, we will make sure you have a recurring time for your sessions and on same page regarding treatment and your goals. After that, you start your therapy and growth journey!
